Creating our Courses

We develop various programs and initiatives fluidly within the woodland, based on the needs of the group we are working with to address the unique emotional needs of Frith Finders. Meditation, mindfulness and yoga workshops can also be offered to encourage a sense of Frith amidst the chaos.

The woodland is also a place where families come together, find solace in nature, and create lasting memories during the difficult journey they face.

The healing powers of the woodland are not limited to emotional support alone. Inspired by the therapeutic benefits of nature, we incorporate physical elements, such as woodcarving, shelter building, fire lighting and campfire cooking into the sessions. Frith Finders are invited to participate in activities, allowing them to connect with the earth and find solace in the act of nurturing living things, without creating a negative impact on the earth. So we tread gently, to nourish the symbiotic relationship between humans and nature.  We are all a part of nature, not apart from it!

Together, we seek to create a warm and welcoming environment where anyone affected by cancer could find comfort, understanding, and a sense of community.

This can benefit anyone who wants to reconnect with nature to build self-esteem, resilience, create new friendships, independence.  So we can cater for parties of women to enjoy an alternative hen party or women’s circle; men’s newly retired groups, or stag party or simply learning some new skills!   Working around a fire circle creates limitless possibilities for self-growth and Frith Finding.

Today, Lucy and Megan’s company stands as a testament to the power of empathy, collaboration, and the healing potential of nature. Their journey from a chance encounter to a fully-fledged organisation has become an inspiration to others, reminding us all of the profound impact we can make when we choose to work together towards a common goal.
